Chard, back with pimping intentions!

So much to blog, so little time. So what have I to blog about?

Nicks 18th!
Jimmy Carr and the Stabbings!
Helen's Parté!

Yes, I and a few others recently decided to haul anchor and set sail to Germany once more, but I shall get onto that in due course, with pictures!!!
I must first apologise for the emo-style foolishness the last post exhibited. All sunny and cheery now, unless the computer breaks (which would no doubt be down to that Christmas hating Scrinch...)
However, first up was Nick's 18th, and after a quick walk to Dave's and then Matt, we were very kindly offered a lift up to Bromley South. After waiting for nick, buying our tickets, waiting a bit more then watching some chav get shouted at by the guards (something about having the wrong zone ticket and trying ot get in anyway. Nearly close to tears, had to get him mum to come and shout at them. We giggled.) Nick turned up, and informed us that the rest would be met in Victoria. We got to the platform, posed:

And got on the train. After much discussion of various topics, the only one of which i can remember was about star wars and the stormtroopers not actually being clones... or something, we got to Victoria where we found the Best David (or Dave Best, one of them) to whom we chatted jovially until Helen turned up and amused me greatly by actually being taller than someone!

Well I laughed. Anyway, we got on the Tube and found ourselves in that fun filled place that is Camden. My first jaunt in and was immediatly offered drugs. Nice deal, but i was lacking in funds. Maybe next time ;). Anyhoo, after a bit of wandering we found ourselves in a small pub called the Canaervan Arms. Well, I say in... Helen and I had to be carefully stared at and regarded before they let us in. However, thanks to my obscenely good looks, and i suppose about 10% down to Helen's immaculately combed eyebrows, they let us in and we stood the night away for a good hour or so. After a little bit however, a small three man musical group (Zarak, apparantly) came on stage and decided to regale us with a meh quality of rhythmic plunking, though a large amount of comedy when the drummer lost a stick only to knock his own cymbal over. Ah, how we laughed. After this turn of events we moved onto our second pub the Oxford Arms, which was good as we didnt get checked for ID, and for some breakdown in communication reason I got an extra pint for nothing. Score! Ahem, anyway, i did take this rather nice group photo (with matt looking the sex again)

At this point Helen looked at her phoned said some exceedingly rude words to make the very air turn BLUE, and had to rush back home. Being the chivalrous beast I am I escorted her back to Charing Cross to make sure she didnt get knifed (well, that would be the reason after the next visit to Charing X i made...) and then returned tho Victoria to meet the rest. After another train and a wonderful wonderful wonderful invention called a bus, we ventured into tesco to buy food and drink before it shut, unfortunately getting locked in

After a little bit of Godfather, me and Dave scooted off home, and I got some schleep, in preparation for the next day and...

WOO!!! THE JIMMOTHY!!! What we all had been anticipating for months weeks and days (with the appropriate numerical hand signals to each other in film lessons) had finally come! After many many travels, the group of savage hunters and assassins made their way to the Hammersmith Apollo once more. They travelled over leaking warehouses of radioactive spoog

And who were these warriors? Only Scott, Louis Gary and Chris!!!

Eventually after a long wait and a Bo Selecta pastiche, out came the Carr himself to racuous applause and cheers! And the man was funny to a painful level. Many was the time I was doubled up in laughter, clutching my sides (for fear of them splitting. Obviously.) and his crack at epileptics (oh the man was offensive) almost had me vomiting twas so hilarious. Got a nifty shot of the stage

and we left, and after we held the door closed so scott could use the public toilet outside Hammersmith (well, closed for most of the time...hehe) we ventured back to charing cross, where we saw this cunningly fashioned gentleman:

And then we were set upon by...

THE EVIL SUPER SKINHEAD STABBY NEONAZI MEN OF CHARING CROSS!!!

Yes indeed, we were accosted by 4 of these skinheaded bastards, once being the little spokesman, setting upon 3 17 years olds despite the fact that there were several people regarding the man in pink with the same feeling. But I suppose they had, oh i dunno, bigger men with them, or more people, you know people that it would be less cowardly to pick a fight with... They came out with some classic quotes however! These included:
  • You need a little more racial pride
  • Queers and blacks need to be fucking executed
  • You're all pathetic little cunts, you're worthless
  • What would you say if a black guy gang raped your sister?
  • I am a fucking nazi
After accosting Chris and Louis, the spokesperson rounded on me (who had done nothing really, not said a word) and had a go at me, before coming out with that wonderful line:

"You're worthless mate, if it weren't for these camera's I'd fucking stab you right now"

O...k...then... we got out of there once the cunts had moved on to espousing hatred elsewhere (though there was some good in all this; i got the name of and talked to a blonde we'd been making typically blokish comments on. That skirt WAS short though...) and got on our train, only to find that one of the nazis was on our train. Oh joyous and happy days! However, he left us alone since I dont think he knew we were there, and we met a load of men who were really helpful and stayed on the train for about 3 stops then left us to go the rest of the way alone. Ah well :D As it turned out, the Nazi got off at Hayes. Oh frabjousness, if i see him while out driving I'll b sure to pop a capo in his arse. I'm a musical gangsta me.

Got home, came on MSN, got comforted, went sleep. Boy wasn't that a fun trip? Well, the Jimmy bit was amazing, and on that I dwell.

When last we left the intrepid Ted he was no longer the bee he was remembered as by his hive mates. Yesterday we saw him as a weak, pathetic figure. We saw how he trained with the flies to make himself stronger ( and I skillfully avoided the 'little grasshopper' pun) and how he met the kindly farmer, who told him of the invasion of the wasps

Mimi says:
I don't it...

We watched in awe as he sped forth to battle the wasps, fashioning weapons from foliage as he had been taught, and saving the bee Ted from his slavery

Mimi says:
I still don't get it

We saw hundreds of XBOX360 buyers left disappointed as Microsoft decided to piss everyone off in time for Christmas. We saw the fog get even worse, and the weather get colder. But that was the tale of yestere'en

Mimi says:
Please explain the grasshopper pun

Tonight we focus on the remainder of his story, and the valiant battle for the hive, as well as pointing out to the esteemed reader that she really needs to watch the Karate Kid, cos thats a damn good film and would stoip her going on about the grasshoppers, when it is in fact a really pointless part of the tale

Mimi says:
Ah, so it's about a film I haven't watched! I don't think I can be expected to understand that

However, never being one to shy from pointlessness, i shall explain. The KArate Kid's mentor, Mr Miyagi would refer to the small thing as "Little Grasshopper". The pun works cos teds small and an insect. And so, at the end of this prologue, the narrator begins with Ted surrounded by thousands of wasps, facing certain loss in combat. And also telling Sarah to sit down and SHUT UP!!!

Mimi says:
«I remains silent»

You'd better... Ahem, anyway.

Ted and Ted looked at each other with a buzzed panic in their antennae. The Wasps hovered ominously above them, their low humming sounding through the trees n exactly the same way that a lawnmower suspended from a branch would. At the very moment however, when all seemed lost, the farmer burst through the wall of wasps, a lawnmower in hand, beekeeping equipment covering him, cutting a swathe through the tyrannical beasts. Ted and Ted looked at each other, and with a shrill BZZT of delight they shot forward through the cloud of confused wasps.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
On and on they flew, through low leaves, over thick boughs, several wasps still hot in pursuit of the pair. Ted glanced over his shoulder and slowed to a hover, while the other Ted shot forward into the hollow of a tree. Ted raised the blade of grass and yelled at the wasps his challenge; "Back Vespidae!" (what Ted lacked in brawn, he made up for in brain.Though he of course now has brawn also, so the statement is a little nulled by this point in the narrative.)

There where 7 wasps in total in the chase, but 5 decided at this point that turning back, flying to the hive and putting their feet up would actually be quite a nice idea this time on a sunday afternoon. The remaining two laughed a shrill and waspish laugh at Ted's feeble words and slowly advanced. Ted steadied his grip on the Grass Blade and raised it above his head with two hands, whilst the other two held the leaf shield ready at his side (bees have 4 arms, two legs, remember?).
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The Wasps, which were incidentally called Laura and Sarah, (Females as workers remember, plus since these wasps wont be around much longer to worry about having much of an identity I can afford to pointlessly give them names. Parallels to the Jearums are purely coincidental.) shot forward, stings raised, ready and sharp. Ted raised the shield high, but the sharp needle point of the sting peirced the thin material and stuck. With his spare arm he held tight to the smooth shaft, pinning the wasp to the shield. She flailed wildly and gnashed her jaws, but behind the shield Ted was still out of reach. The other wasp swung in, and Ted blindly waved the Grass Blade, hearing the shrill screech of grass on carapace that signalled a hit. The wasp span out, it wing crumpled and fell into a clump of leaves under a root of a giant oak.

Ted looked the other wasp in the eye and winked. The wasp thrashed angrily, but could not get free from Ted's grip. Ted raised the sword and slapped the flat across the head of the wasp, and it fell dow to the ground next to her partner. Both now had amnesia, hence the not having to worry about identity. I know how to keep a story family friendly.

Ted strapped the sword and shield to his back, and flew into the hollow, where a low yet voluminous buzz of many many bees emanated...

-
Ted's not doing too bad for himself is he?
Proper post tomorrow, and maybe more Ted if i find my muse.

Oh, and happy birthday in -2 minutes Helen. And good luck with the haircut Sarah :)

A lovely story for you (plus audience participation)

Once upon a time there was a little bee called Ted. Ted was a small bee, and was always finding it hard to fit in with the other bee's in the hive. One day, the queen asked one of the drones to find her a worker how could carry the heaviest loads of honey from cell to cell all day without stoppping. All the young bees were very excited by this, and spent the next few days making themselves as strong as they could so that they could have a chance at being picked. Ted knew he'd never be picked however, and sat in hus little wax house crying little buzzing cries, wishing he were big and tough and strong like the other bees. "There's no point sitting there moping, Ted" his mother would say. "If you want to be big and strong you have to earn it, like the others". So Ted got up, and flew out of the hive, determined to find his strength somewhere. he started collected little bits of pollen from flowers, working with heavier and heavier loads until he could pick up as much as they other bees. One day, as he was resting on the leaf of an agapanthus, a gang of flies flew past and landed on the same plant. "Hello there little bee" they said. "What are you doing today?". "Making myself strong so i can work in the hive" said Ted .Then, at that very moment, Helen came back, and the story drew to an abrupt but happy ending.

Endless enthusiasm says:
aaaaaaaaaw!
Well that was nice... says:
Sorry about that
Well that was nice... says:
got bored
Endless enthusiasm says:
oh its so cute!
Endless enthusiasm says:
oh wait carry on with the story i have to peel potatoes
Well that was nice... says:
ok

However, as it turned out, Helen had to go and peel potatoes. Ted was taken back to the Flie's house where they helped him become strong and tough like the other bees. After another day, ted decided to return to the hive, and waved a buzzy farewell to the flies. "Goodbye flies" he said. "Goodbee" they punned, and fell about buzzing to themselves as Ted flew out of sight. Eventually, Ted grew tired of flying, and so sat on a garden wall to rest for the reaminder of the journey. He pulled a book out of his satchel, sat back and began to read.Eventually he fell into a deep sleep. "Snore - buzz- snore - buzz" he went all through the night. he was so fast asleep he didnt notice the gardener come out early next morning until he sat right next to Ted on the wall. "Well I never" thought the gardener. "What's such a small bee like this doing lying fast asleep on my garden wall?". He picked up a small twig and gently poked ted in the side. "snore- buzz- snore HM?" Ted woke with a buzz and looked up at the giant of the gardener. "H-hello" he buzzed. "hello there, are you lost? I dont recall seeing a nest around here for a few miles" "Oh no" said ted. "My hive is very far away, miles and miles and miles i should think, in the roof of an old shed in the woods". the gardener, who since the author keeps writing as farmer accidentally will now be referred to as a farmer, scratched his cheek with his glove thoughtfully "Oh aye I know the one, but I dont recall seeing a bee's nest in there... Last i looked there was nowt but wasps living in that there shed" the farmer mused in his recently found country accent. "W-WOPS?!" shrieked Ted

Endless enthusiasm says:
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Endless enthusiasm says:
wasps???

"Oh yes. Would probably be best for you to get back there quick little bee, and probably best for this sentence not to needlessly shatter the fourth wall by nodding dramatically at helen" the farmer said whilst nodding dramatically at the webcam window that had appeared. "I cant go back if there are wasps around!" said Ted. "They're worse than the worst bully's i ever met! Oh, if only i was much bigger and stronger and..."

Endless enthusiasm says:
oh poor ted!

Ted thought back to the time with the flies, realised he was acually stronger, dodged a lot of lengthy exposition, thanked the farmer and buzzed off. Literally. "good bye Ted!" said the farmer, who was evidently reading the narration to have known the bees name. "Good luck with the wasps!"

Endless enthusiasm says:
woooo!

Ted buzzed as fast as his little buzzy wings would buzz him. He came at last to the shed and hid behind a peble. Even ffrom here he could see the wasps flying in and out of the shed. "Oh what has become of my friends?" thought Ted sadly. He flew away sadly, until he heard an angry buzzing not far from him. He flew towards the sound, to find two wasps talking to a bee at a daffodil.

Endless enthusiasm says:
ooh

"Come on! Get a move on bee!" one wasp buzzed. "we needs us this honey quickly! the more we get, the faster we sell it and the RICHER we become!"

Endless enthusiasm says:
eeek

"So," thought Ted, "Thats their little game! They steal our hard earned honey and sell it to get rich! Well I can put a stop to this!" He flew to the ground and plucked a blade of grass and a small leaf from the dirt and flew to the wasps. "You let that bee go!" he cried, brandishing his grass sword
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Endless enthusiasm says:
wow!
Endless enthusiasm says:
this is such a great story

The wasp just laughed however, and buzzed rather obscenely in ted's direction. Ted swung his grass sword and the wasp lost his sting!

Endless enthusiasm says:
go ted!

Howling with rage, the wasp (by now curiously emasculated) flew back to the hive, closely followed by his companion. Ted buzzed the obligatory one liner, and told the other bee to fashion weapons such as his. Suddenly, the air was thick with buzzing, and THOUSANDS of wasps came flying through the trees, the stingless one at the head of the company. Ted buzzed a small eep, looking at the countless fierce yellow and black angry faces in front of him

Endless enthusiasm says:
oh no!
Endless enthusiasm says:
he eeped!
Endless enthusiasm says:
things must be bad

The narrator considered his audience with a scathing look for a second

Endless enthusiasm says:
what?
Endless enthusiasm says:
why?

Ted and the other bee (coincidentally also called Ted. Which is silly to have them both with males names since all bee drones are female anyway) looked at each other...

And at that point the story stopped. I'll finish it with tomorrows blog (or thursday's. depends on theatre) which will involve Camden, Jimmy Carr and attempted stabbings.

Narrator Chard

Ye Olde Mediaevyl (Bloggers) Banquet

Once upon a tyme, a tyme of such turmoille as wolvs and bearrs did rome the land wyth no fearre, a band of nable travelerres sett forrth on a queste for truthe, ryghteousnesse and a damnéd fyne knees-uppe. Upone the bankes of that greate Riverre Cam, thay settled fore the nightte in an olde Tavern. Fore twas the nyght that destynies werre sealled, dealyngs werre uncoverede, and fun was had. And nowe, does the story of thatt nyght unfolde...

And so wrote that noble (nable) scholar Sir Ludwig Von Chard the Indestructable and Pretty Darn Swish. Unfortunately, much of this journal was lost in the Great Fire of London in 1667. Which was slightly more minor than the one in 1666, only causing the destruction of a poorly constructed semi-detached and a holidaying penguin (who got his feathers a little singed and sued the mayor for £3 before making his way back to his homeland where he promptly became fire chief, before they realised it was damn hard trying to get ice to catch fire...). However, this is not the story of what happened to that penguin. Thanks to recent discoveries in the excavation beneath the British Museum (which may not be actually happening. Beep.) we are now able to have a greater insight into what happened that night. We were most fortunate to discover that Sir Ludwig happened to be in possession of a digital camera for some reason, and so we also have a photographic representation of this fateful night, along with his own commentary from his journal, with filler bull where appropriate by the me. And now, let us go back and visit that Cambridge Tavern, back in the depths of time, back where there was a roaring fire, a tankard and merry conversation for all...

Who?

So who were these '
nable travelerres', who were in search of that epic 'knees-uppe'? Here, we insult Ludwig's prologue, which links to portraits of the appropriate.:

Herre arre writtene the wordes of that noted scholarre
Sir Ludvige; Son of Laurance, Earle of Dartmoore,
On occasione of his journeye to Cam Bridge.

I complette this tayle here, withe the dayes complete.
All have returnede to theyr abodes and homelandes,
All as I rememberre them. And here it is I do name them,
Those wyth whome I was fated to spend a time,
Those to whome I owe a grate stay.

Fore the Crowne and Nobility:
Queen Sarah of The Darke Realme,
With her Wizard of Darke Magicks, Richard of Kent.
Queen Kirsten of The Kingdom of Light
Lord Yang and Lady Oxenham of Chatworth House
Sir Lobsterlot, Knight of the Realms
The Earl and Countess of Crawford and Balcarres:
Sir Steven Banfield and Lady Rose Mackworth-Young.
And also Princess Helen, Heir to the Dark Throne
Withe her Page, Richard of the House Lewis

Fore the Common Man:
Toby Belch, a common drunkarde,
Hane Maung; Barkeepe, Hoste, Cooke and Venerated Mastere of the Harpsichorde,
Jon, Mastere of Time
Ollivandenne, Comediane and Jester

Such fine companye no man can repeat,
A gallantte companye of friendshipes many,
And emnities few.

And so the journal officially begins, after a few more contextual introductory notes (which from fragments we see to be a shopping list, a list of things to do with a spare piece of string and a score table for 'Up and Down the River'). The journey ran some time between October and December, as Ludwig mentions the weather as 'inhospitable and of bountiful frost', though the year and exact date are not recorded. The journal entries between the start of the journey and the journey's end are curiously far apart, so it is fair to assume that the journey took many days (which, from Kent to Cambridge is very possible, even by coach)

On the third day of the journey Ludwig indulges in providing us with a little commentary of some of the travellers, an insight not to be overlooked when dealing with the relationships and personalities of the group. A most interesting coupling of note is Sir Steven Banfield and the Wizard, Richard of Kent, (see above) whom Ludwig seems to hold in severely high regard after an incident involving a pack of marauding bandits. What we can discern from the few scraps of the pages we have is that somewhere along the road the group were accosted by members of that notable guild of thieves 'Burrberrus Chavus'. At least 12 were confronted by the magicks of the Dark Wizard Chard, who succeeded in turning them into something vaguely reminiscient of the Primordial Soup, whilst Steve combined the power of his swordsmanship and legendary Bish powers to combat a veritable score of Chavs. Ollivandenne also was skiled in the sword, though apparantly his oneliners left a little to be desired:

"At the hewwing of the Cavvs skulle, he did proclaime to the Heavens a query of the effectes his actiones woulde have on guilde hede counte. The mirthe leveles werre lowe, and Ollivanden did clean the latrines that even."

At any rate, the company made it to Cambridge, and after a walk down the river side, through the smokey moors and past the eccentric inventor Grimvlad's house, who had created "the horseless carriage of the duds" they entered the Tavern were they were to stay.

-

Amazingly, two portraits from the tavern survive even to this day. One of it's proprietor Hane and another of thetavern's most frequent resident, Toby Belch (whom it is widely believed was the origination for the Twelth Night character, as Toby was a cousin of Sir Edmund Shakespar, who is of direct parentage to the bard. It can be assumed tales were told in that family). It had a reputation for good food, good ale, a lobster phone, and damn fine company, even if there was a bizarre fixing on the lightbulb, a bizarre portrait depicting sisterly love and evidence of a Time Lord (possibly Jon) on the Harpsichord

The evening was racuous, with Lord Yang donning a lampshade while the ladies donned their evening garments, while even Sir Banfield donned a cape and turtle for the evening. However, eventually the feast began, with the true Frenchman Hane cutting the meat that was to be devoured hungrily. However, not all were at amazingly chuffed at this, as Ludwig chronicles:

"Loud yet slye were the eviles from the Quens and Page. Quoteth they theire morales of no fleshe eating, yet mostly ignoréde they were, as they had their own foode to enjoy, as did we."

Vegetarianism in those days? Heavens. However, there was always the fun of chocolate fondue to be had, before sleep.

-

As it turned to morning, the company awoke, with Ollivandenne and Rose looking the most shattered, while Queen Sarah didn't awake for ages as Richard and Princess Helen played Chess and Hane compared... sizes...

Then we all came home, the transition between styles during this post came to an end, I realised how unfunny I was being, and left you all alone.

Night all, and just remember: FEET!!!

Announcement

And now, a word form my girlfriend. I accept no responsibility for what she wrote, and as such I have turned off comments. Dont really want them. More me written fun tomorrow.

EXCITING NEWS!

After many months of plotting and subterfuge, Date My Sister Project 4 has finally come to fruition! Over the past few months, Richard and I (although mainly me) have done our utmost to bring these two young lovebirds together, and now that they finally are, we can reveal how we brought about the conception of this wonderful relationship. As soon as I met Richard Lewis, it was clear to me that his heart was pining for someone. Someone who understood him, someone who would find his jokes funny, and his pedanticism endearing. It quickly became clear to me that this person was, in fact, my sister. Shortly after I announced the beginning of DMSP4, I introduced the two of them online, on the pretense that "Helen needed experience in talking to boys". They hit it off straight away, and by the time of their first meeting at the BlogBQ, which I must now admit was not entirely set up for the noble cause of introducing all bloggers to each other, but was, in fact, a tool by which I could bring these two together they had become good friends. All went well at the BlogBQ, Helen gave Richard Lewis some tomato ketchup and sugar and they played Mao sitting next to each other. Already the romance was starting to blossom This continued at the BlogBQ Mark 2, when Richard, unable to bear being separated from his beloved Helen for one moment longer, rushed out of the BlogBQ to find her and bring her to it. As this photo demonstrates, the love between them was almost visible. The next weekend, I could tell they wanted to see each other again, but were too shy to say anything so I arranged a "party" to which, unbeknownst to them, they were the only ones invited Richard and I turned up a little way into the "party" and watched Plan 9 from Outer Space with them, whilst they snuggled up on the other sofa. DMSP4 was progressing beautifully! By now, they were arranging meetings under their own steam. The following weekend they went to a debating competition together. The next weekend, after Richard had slighted our family, Helen and I turned up at Richard's house and planted a horse's head on his pillow; the chemistry between them was palpable. Then came Richard's birthday party (which I encouraged him to have), to which, obviously, he invited Helen At this point, the developing couple became even more independant. I had gone off to Oxford, leaving them to their own devices, and they started seeing each other in secret, even concealing it from me! They started going out officially the next weekend, after going to see Wyrd Sisters together; then went on a series of dates over the next few weekends They finally ended their deception this weekend at the Bloggers Banquet, and I am now happy to present to the world... Helen and Richard! Finally, a statement from the happy couple:

"The duplicity and secrecy were fun, but we were running out of alibis. We thank Sarah for bringing us together, and apologise to her for our lies when prsented with her good intentions. We are very happy."

October 31, 2005

"Fire on the Ranch, boys!!!"

And so my friends, the time is upon us. An era is finally at an end, as we can all finally wave "So long far thee well, pip pip, cheerio" (name that musical) to the time of the Autumn half term.Yes, after only 14 of them, a total of between 14-28 weeks, we will never again have an Autumn halfterm. Makes one weep almost no?

Still, thankfully mine was rather eventful at least. On the Saturday Sa was around until some time that I can't rembemember that was certainly after 12 since i never wake up before then but was all fun wonderful and for the most part cool. Sunday played host to some luncheon activities involving company and all, which was marvellous since the food was slightly better (and certainly more plentiful) which more than made up for the fact i somehow lost half the rest of day.

Monday was where it all picked up. After a quick sojourn in the Stomppmobile to the abode of Stompp ( also home to Stompp Music INK) and DESTRUCTOR FISH (C), i went to see my good friend Stamp. Or Stompp. I forget his name. Anyhoo, after a much belated joke session and the arrival of Stompp's crumpets, we ventured upstairs and engaged in that wholesome pasttime most often described in popular literary circles as Halo Co-op. Starting at 343 Guilty Spark, I got a slight shock realising that I was dying slightly less than I usually do on Heroic. Anyway, after the fun and flood that contained, we tackled the Library, which was much more of the varity "Oops, I'm dead again" variety, with accompanying "AGH oh god oh god they're coming out of the goddamn walls run come on Rick respawn respawn RESPAAaaaaargh..." sounds from Stompp. Oh and that was VERY frequent (till Stompp shot at the Sentinels. Silly man.) Once we got to Two Betrayals though we seemed to have reached the trough of our tolerance and decided to start killing each other and falling long distances for amusement's sake. Then some quick Father Ted ("But Ted, what about your sermons? People listen to you then." "Ah no Dougal, I mean people I respect.") and home times.
NOTE: At this point NTL went flurghulwelg and so I gained a week between the above paragraph and this one. Enjoy.
Tuesday was the day I braved the wonders of South Croydon in order to get my teeth poked. I enlisted the company of young Ed and off we set to the stop where buses do just that. After waiting a silly amount of time for the appropriate bus, we set off with punctuated calls of "I am sooo late...". We got there, to find i was infact about 2 hours early. Piss. Still the man came and poked about a bit, then oitlined all the needlessly complicated and painful things he wanted to do to me, and I left, got on the bus with Ed again and set off for Bromley South. After admiration of the Elves in GW, we walked around the shops for a moderate amount of time, then got back on the bus to home. Once there, I got mum and jetted BACK to Bromley to find that woman who's cross is brown, and came home, allowing her to kick my arse on SCII for the rest of the evening.

Wednesday was almost totally spent in the company of the Browncross, though I can't remember much of the details (it has been a week, go with it) but it was all well fun happy and loving until

Thursday. Dave turned up at my house and we all (sarah included) went off to the station where we met the Oakner that is Dan. After the usual acquisition of patrons (and the loss of sarah :'() we made it to the Vue in Purley for that animated film and funnyfest that is Wallace and Gromit. Oh and hilarity was abound! A very very very very very very dirty film however... not one to be watched if your mind is less than pure. So i giggled at that, and the company left to find Emmie sitting outside. Well, to each their own. We all piled back onto public transport and made our own way homes, which made the day complete and replenished.

Friday. What did i do on friday... oh yes, I decided to be ironic about calling Emmie late yesterday by turning up to her abode slightly under 2 hours late. Ah well. Still, we spent some amounts of time chatting and pianising and genrally doing nothing to better the rest of the human race, when i got a call on the telephonic communication device. As it appeared, twas Dave, and after bidding a fond farewell to the Clapham I raced home and then out to the Staines domain, where we had a huge amount of giggles over Wife Swap, attempted a very interesting imporovisation on the Tequila Slammer (involving Whiskey and Skittles) and enjoyed the fun of Ong-Bak's fights. Also got hysterically hungover, to the extent that I had a demonic stomach all the way to next wednesday.

Saturday I braved the perils of the exterior of the M25 to travel to Ocksthord. After some sleep and some gigleswiththe blokenet to me I got to my destination, and went shopping with the sa. After a long walk we got back to her place (careful) and did some baking before leaving to a parté! Twas her friend Fran's (or, to put it in the phrasing of Peter Serafinowicz, "Frrrrrrrrrrrran?!") party, and we entered to the strains of that wholesome drinking game "I have never". I learned too much about her friends that night... still was all well and good, and me and Sarah eventually staggered back to her house, before I left on the Sunday. A fun fun trip

Monday. Schooled again. Lovely. Nothing of note really happened in school, except Tuesday when my internet fooked up, meaning I've had to spend most of today catching up on EVERYTHING (and still not finished). On thursday I was greeted in the Concourse by Ed Sumption (and that was scary) who had popped in for a genial hello. Grazy and crazy.

Saturday (yesterday) was spent attempting the feat to watch all 6 Star Wars Films back to back. It was hard, and VERY VERY long. Though, with the little book to help us along, we saw some quite interesting things that I'd never noticed before:
  1. ET's in the Galactic Senate
  2. TIE Fighters in Coruscant
  3. The Stormtrooper blasters eject spent casings
  4. The Stormtrooper hitting his head on the door of the Death Star
  5. Oola (Jabba's dancer) falling into the Rancor pit with her right breast exposed
Intersting no? Unfortunately Sarah came after the 20 minute mark of Return of the Jedi, so I had to pull out at the 12 hour and 40 minutes. Still, it was a very very fun event, and kudos to Rob for the invite and seriously cool amounts of stops being pulled out regarding the presentation (gotta love the itinerary).

Came home today, dragging Sarah along with me and we spent most of the day messing around on SCII and EyeToy before her mum came and took her back home. Then I came on here, and finished this much belated post. Now to catch up on the rest of my links.

And remember...

DARTH CHARD IS WATCHING YOU

Night guys :)

The Simple Life

I know I was meant to continue the post under this one, but you see my friends, I was on a wierd wonderful and altogether very w filled journey! I shall relate:

So there I was, the quiet happy and sexually promiscuous giant of a person you all know and love; sitting down of a Sunday evening to enjoy a quiet relazing game session on the 2nd Station on which Play is allowed.

Suddenly, the screen flashed a brilliant white, the swirling pixels blinding me to the extent i raised my arm to shield the intense light... when my sight returned, i was in:

A disco?! I began to wonder what strange things had happened; here i was, still loking as devilishly sexy as ever, even in the trademark hoody.. but now i was but a pawn in someones sick Godlike fantasy; made of nothing but polygons, models, textures and AI, for some reason a giant green diamond above my head, and a blue shaft of light dictating my every move. I looked across the room as i heard a voice calling to me. Somehow i kne her name asCandi.. and the blue shaft called out its instruction... and i had to obey...
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
It felt somewhat disturbing... well, she seemed to enjoy it, and saw fit to tell me so
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
All those people who tell you its insane to fantasise about pixels are very very right... dont... any way, the bad god (or Gad as i then dubbed him) seemed to control the very world, not just the inhabitants, as suddenly the walls and pounding techno music of the disco became...

My mums house?! At least we could have long discussions about cutlery again. Such pleasantaries were not to last however, as she gave me a list of things to get done:
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Get a job? Well, she has been telling me to for ages. Deciding to suck in my dignity (and lethargy) I went outside and consulted the local rag. As it turned out, there was an oppertunity that was PERFECT! Allthose who say drama is a waste, read and weep:

100? Nice one! However, my job was a little too far away, and I'd have to move somewhere closer. It was a heart breaking moment, but one that Gad seemed to see fit to set me on immediatly
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
So, i hit the open road, to a place recommended to me by Gad (who i was starting to trust less and less)
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
As it turned out, this was the place of Miss Mimi Landgrabb, who having heard of my arrival was awaiting me at the door.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
I swiflty checked the list of things to do for the day; better to get an early start no?
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Well, Mimi did seem quite cool, and we were now living together. What harm could there be? As it tunred out, i was needed straight away: her coffee machine was broken. So, i gave it my best shot...
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
...until Gad decided i should read up on the subject first
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
So there we go. Also began the arduous commute to work each morning. The bus was ok, but far too crowded
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
After a few days things were starting to look up. The week started with the news I had been promoted!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
With the extra cash in hand, I decided to trade in my old scooter; poor thing was definitely past its peak. So, i took it along to the local dealers, and was amazed with what they gave me!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Travelling in style these days! Things were good with Mimi as well. She was very much the creative and arty type, and even sold some of her works locally, which helped pay the bills
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Socially we got on like a virtual house on fire! As well as the dinnertime interaction
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
there was alwas time for a little bit of relaxation
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
and a little boogying! (Picard song, naturlich)

However, something didn't seem right. Mimi was fun and all, but was invariably out a lot of the time. The long hours spent with her out of the house ate away at me for some reason I coulnd't fathom; seeing her brightened my virtual day, and even the constant oppression of Gad couldnt get me down. One evening, a full week after the incident at the disco, I took Mimi aside into the living room, and poured out all my feelings for her. Real or not, she was a wonderful person who I never wanted to lose, no matter what. She just sat there for a second, taking it in, until she replied in kind...
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
..and we shared our very first kiss!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

ut then, I could feel an all too familiar light flaring in my eyes, and even as i looked at her Mimi seemed to melt away.. and then...
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
I was back in my room.

It was a wierd and wonderful experience I had under the control of Gad, but I am very glad to be free. Until I look back at my TV, and think of Mimi, wondering where she is, whether she's ok. She'd probably be at the club right now with all her friends, or arguing with her dad about the rent. Does she ever think of me? Or was I the only one in that world who could think? Wherever she is...

...I miss her...

Descent into the Burrow

Yes indeed, Sunday was the time for our initial strike. Months in the planning, we were finally ready to launch an assault on what we now believed to be the lair of all that is evil, cursed and depraved. We had found the Burrow... and we were going in.

It had begun during a lonely night 2 weeks ago. I lay on a small bed of grass, binoculars in hand, scanning the waters of the Thames. A small unmanned boat drifted lazily in the moonlight, the oars cutting into the water with little noise.I focused the lens, but the boat looked innocent enough. I rolled over and looked up at the stars. Another long night with nothing happening. When would he arrive?

The Judges had been watching this area in the heart of London's Docklands since February. Each night, one of us had sat in this same spot, watching, waiting. The soil under the grass had the imprint of several months worth of people lying on it, which at least made it comfortable. I chewed a piece of grass impatiently, the tang of cellulose and mud filling my mouth with a breathtaking perfume. The stars were so clear that night, the harsh lights of the London streets seeming to dim to allow this show of cosmic beauty. The moon shone with a brilliant radiance, its face reflected in the Thames as a streak of white in the darkness of the waters, the ground around me a dazzling pale blue. It was only 11 o'clock, and I was bored already. Even he wouldn't be bold enough to make a move on a full moon. I began to feel drowsy, the cool late night air filling my lungs and mind with a relaxed feeling more potent than any alcohol. I closed my eyes for just a moment, sleep finally taking it's gentle hold.

I jumped awake with a start. The grass I had been chewing earlier lay on my chin, my own saliva cold against my face. I could hear voices. A couple out for a late night stroll? With the feeling in my gut, nothing romantic was about to happen. I checked the timer on my camera: 0234. I swore inwardly. If I had missed anything... I focused my binoculars, trying to blink my weary eyes into a focus of their own. A motorboat was moored a little way off from the warehouse, the hum of the outboard motor a low rattle in my ears. The voices were obscured, but they weren't coming from the boat. I had to find them.

With a quick glance over my shoulder, I made a low run onto the decking, crouching behind a wall. I looked over the topmost row of bricks down the dock... someone was looking back at me. I reached around the wall, grabbing hold of an arm, and pulled the owner round to my side, the small cutting knife in my hand quickly placed over the throat of the person. I pulled it back when i saw who it was, but i didn't relinquish my grip on his arm. "And just what in the hell d'you think you're doing here?", I whispered forcefully into his face. Dave struggled slightly, before whispering back. "Just taking a walk... nice night for it". It was a feeble excuse. There was only one reason to be on those planks that night. "A walk this late in London for a rat like you? Good to know you keep healthy" I retorted. Not my best, but i was tired, and seeing him there only made me more edgy than I was already. "Aadvarks turning nocturnal these days?". Dave sneered, "Aardvarks are nocturnal anyway, didn't you ever do biology you drama freak?" I twisted him arm nonchalantly. I wasn't in the mood to discuss classroom politics. I looked over him and saw what i feared. Two men, both about 6 foot in height, but with ears to rival the silhouettes of Mickey Mouse and a smeared poster of Batman. Agents.

I let the physics fool go, and he ran off in the direction of Charing Cross. I didn't care if he was eaten, he deserved it. I got out my phone and wrote a hasty text to Jon. Head of the Judges, he would be very interested in this. 'At W.23. OS and OS sighted, will observe. Complication: Slave Dave also present. Recommend?'. Hopefully he'd reply, so i set my phone to Wheesht!, and hled it in my hand as I looked up at the Agents. They were right where we knew they'd be. Warehouse 23. I walked forward, keeping to the shadows, passing Warehouses 18, 19 and 20. I stopped behind 21 as my phone began to flash blue. I flipped it open and read the text. 'Will get SD myself. Get what you can and get out'. Worked for me. I crouched at the corner and listened around the corner. The boat was far enough off for the only sound to distract me from the voices was my own heavy breathing.

I listened intently, hearing the deep, husky voices discussing trivial matters. The Burrow, Bromos, the successful insertion of Plumbius. Old news. I needed something better than this. I heard the voices muffle slightly, along with the loud rattle of the warehouse shutters. They had gone in, and I was still outside. I mentally kicked myself. Another golden oppertunity wasted. I moved to the side of W23. The dank smell of some foul Aardvark plot was wafting out from somewhere, and I needed to go nearer to it. I felt sick as I crouched by an ajar basement window. I ducked back as a light flicked on, and arranged myself by the gap. I waited, and I listened.

With a grim concentration, I heard the voices of Agents Osmosis and Osteoperosis. Two other figures had thier backs to me, though one was quickly introduced by the other, while the simple reactions of the two Agents told me who the other one was. Agent Ozymandias stood, arms behind his back behind the other stranger who sat in an office chair. The other two Agents stood before him, saluted and bowed.

They say when you get anxious the hairs on the back of your neck stand up with a sudden chill of terror. Mine did something similar; they all commited suicide. Panic and fear gripped me, my throat tightened. I sat up and regained my breath, keeping under the level of the voices inside. "Agents, you have returned. I trust Plumbius had a report from The Beast?". The chillingly high voice, the cool and collect calmness of that who fears nothing. Even the Agents feared him."O-of course. Agent Tyler has reported a complete analysis on one under his care. We suspect this individual to be closely linked to the Judges. He was conveniently absent each time Agent Osiris encountered the same Judge. The likelyhood is that was mere coincidence but- " "No. No coincidence." The voice pierced my eardrums again. "Osiris was adamant when she reported to the Beast. The Judge was one of his tutees. I am only pleased she managed to report that before the Judge killed her."

I sat back. I remembered that fight. Back when Otis was just gaining power, he'd take anyone to be an Agent. We managed to first learn of him through this foolishly careless recruitment procedure, when Dave turned to us and informed us. The trial was inconclusive, so he was allowed to live. Something that still galls me whenever I think of it. Osiris was one of the first to join when Otis instigated the O-S system of codenaming. She was, as far as we knew the only female agent there ever was or will be. Otis is like that. I spent the better part of a month tracking her down, learning what I could about the Agents. Each of the Judges shadowed their own Agent. I got too close, and Osiris turned on me. But as far as I knew, i never killed her. But then, Otis never really enjoyed the company of his Agents...

"Preperations for this coming Sunday. Are they complete Osteoperosis?". "Yes Lord, The Burrow expects you, and Agent Lewis is ready for your arrival. His dwelling will be empty, and insertion should be flawless."

I had heard the magic phrase. If my ears still worked after hearing that foul voice, I knew where the Burrow was. I knew how to get there... I sat up, and retraced my steps to the grass embankment and walked off into the night once more.

I trembled with excitement on the first train back in the morning, re-writing the hasty scrawl of my notes. If what i had was to be trusted, I had hit gold. I had found the Burrow...

I had found Otis himself...

(OOC, dave have that as an intro. I'm still working on it, but that can sate you for tonight.)

Sun of Science

You'll see what i did there in a minute.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
So, today I left for school early. With all my transgressions involving punctuality last week i was DAMN determined to do better this week, starting with today. I left home at 7.30 and took the stroll to'ard school. I turned up in the lair of the beast, to find it EMPTY!!! I WAS FIRST IN!!! Noone here... or here... and not a soul. Damn proud of that I was!

Anyway, after a long and dull Englit, I ventured for a second period three (period 6 :-P) , whereupon we all ventured out to take a look at the eclipse which people told me was on that i had no idea about but oh well an eclipse is an eclipse. After much messing around we finally made our pinhole camera complete with projector (seen here operated by Uber Projectionist Dave) The Sun seemed to be giving us no clues of its own, so we looked onto the screen, and as the sun shone through what did we see?! This remarkable image!!! Theres Science for ya. Unfortunately, the sun seemed to turn Dan to stone, so we had to find the Elixir of Petrification to revive him.

I then spent 3rd explaining to Ollie the plot of Pride and Prejudice... with cards
Sciency day no?

Science

I have made a masterful scientific discovery!

Me (m) + Shower (s) = Good (g). M+S = Marks and Spencer (MS). Therefore MS=G (monosodium glutamate). Now, Cat (c) + M = G, which stands to reason that MS+C also = G. But, M+MS+C+S = Bad (b)

So, if M+MS+C+S=B, but M+MS+S= G, obviously S+C=B.

The rule here? Never take a shower with a cat watching you. It's very unnerving...

Oh, also: Oranges and Richard plus Gardening Alone Shouldnt Mix, but they evidently do since i cut the grass yesterday. Therefore O+R+G+A+S+M = The sum of its parts.

Evidently R= ORGASM. I rock :-P

Is it wrong that I can already hear all those who do physics and maths writhing in sheer torment? Ooh, that made me go all tingly...
